Senior Citizen Center Program

Purpose: To provide on-site and home-delivered meals, transportation, supportive services to Navajo elders, currently, at ninety-three (93) senior citizen centers; and to provide recreational, social, educational and health activities for elders.

Eligibility

• Must be sixty (60) years of age or older, and spouse (regardless of age) .

Service Description:

A "focal point: for all community planning and development, information sharing, and participation in the Navajo government, support service delivery, and social interaction for senior citizens."
